FIRST. I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to share with my roommate and building pals. Praise God!
Soo, my roommate is Ryan Xing, he’s an international student from China, and he is a blessing as a roommate. Plus, I got to meet pretty cool and unique friends at Arroyo Vista these past two days! :)
Hmm, so I woke up just in time to rush to the Dean Welcome thingy, in which I chilled with Ryan, and chatted with Kim, Iffany, Kevin, Kristine, and Christian.
After, I went out after with Amiel to our Engineering introduction thingy. XD We really connect well so far^^
Ate lunch with Amiel, and halfway through, Iffany and her friend joined us ^_^.
Then we went separate ways, in which me and Amiel bought some stuff and books from people and the bookstore, and then decided to go on a memorable journey at an off road shortcut to Arroyo Vista from the UCI Student Center! Our senses of direction failed us and we ended up going to this completely unknown neighborhood, taking about some sweaty 50 minutes.. )’: (since we had to round back towards Arroyo) X)
Me and my brah, Amiel hit it off really well, and now Amiel and Ryan will be going to the Besbein church this Sunday now~ :D
Also, I got free barbecue for dinner today! Then after the food digested, I headed over to go play some bball with Jordan, Paul, and Travis. (my neighbors in my building) :D Fuun stuff~ haah. They’re pretty quick on their feet! O:
Ryan missed out on the bbq, (cause he as taking his 2 hour English test cause he’s an international student) but I got the opportunity to go journey with him to the ARC!
I saw Tiffany and Alice with their two friendss, and I also saw the Rowland group - David, Grace, Hallie, Alex, Raymond, and Tiffany there. yeaah :) Ryan and me had a pretty unique tour.
and finally I got to shower, and now I’m typing this up!
BASICALLY,
TODAY, I got to grow closer to Ryan, my building’s peeps - esp. Amiel ^^, and other people. I say UCI life has been wonderful so far. :)
