2011 has made me much more conscious of how precious life is. It has showed me how much my family and church mean to me. It has been painful. It has showed my flaws. 2011 has been hard, but I believe, in the long run, it’ll just be my success story of sticking through and reacting accordingly. It has been a blessing. It has showed me, whether I deny it or not, my life is in God’s hands :o and my time management in dilly dallying has improved. Retrospectively, this year, I’ve traded physical appearance and strength for growth in faith and maturity. I may have ~~now a plethora of~~—plenty enough!—scars now, :T (I’m not exactly comely now) but my thoughts, are deeper, and my perspective..changed, and still changing, for the better. I have been reminded, (in my face..) of where exactly I should be storing my treasures. My relationship with God is strengthened, and my knowledge of him is just that bit more clearer. And that, is priceless. ♪ ヽ(´・｀)ﾉ

I’ve been able to spend time with my mom, experience life from a different perspective (Being healthy to, now I’m the patient in the hospital…), and just relax. I read a lot now. (=

The changes:

At this moment, I have some ridiculous side effects from my meds..I went from 152 to 168 in two weeks (no joke) of water weight and fat. (my meds make me retain more water) My appetite has grown a lot o: , and my inability to do more than light exercises is reflected in my weight gain. I do go walking every day for at least 35 minutes, with intervals of speed walking~ so I’ve had the privilege of seeing some of that jiggling jelly turn a bit solid this winter break after getting discharged from the hospital. (8
mm, I am still anemic, (in my latest CBC) with my hemoglobin level at 8.8. I have more and more of a moon face, and these pimples are a pain. Overall, I understand that all of this (my symptoms and feebleness) is only temporary, so I shall utilize my time, and press on and run the race. You know which race I’m talking about. ;)

To be honest, I sporadically fight my feelings of reclusive-ness (not a word) more often than naught. I’d rather hermit at home than speak with outsiders. Thus, I am grateful for the people that have contacted me out of the blue for my concern. Why? They helped fight the good fight, motivate, and infected me with positivity. Thank you God for placing them in my life.

My current medications are 20 mg of Prednisone, and 2 x 1600 mg of Asacol, which I have been lucky enough to be able to decrease from before -^^-

Right now, I miss those conversations with some people—intelligent, witty, and what-not—but for now, sleep is priority~ Ta ta for now!

Things to Remember…

1. Trust God with the Broken Pieces of your Life. He promises to work all things together for good and if you will give Him your brokenness, He will create something Beautiful.

2. Trade in your Plans for God’s Plans. Realize that God’s plans for your life probably look much different than your own plans, but God’s plans are perfect. He cares about your life even more than you do!

3. Choose an attitude of Gratitude in every situation. The Bible says that we should “Give thanks in all circumstances” which means that even when life seems to be falling apart, in Christ, we still have countless reasons to give Thanks! When you choose to give Thanks, you’ll find your joy and gratitude chasing away the worry and pessimism from your mind.

Here are a few Scriptures that have brought me peace in troubled times. I pray that these bring you peace as well…

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Discharged! o:

Actually, currently I have indeterminate colitis.

I hope it’s ulcerative colitis than Crohn’s disease :T.

Currently on:

Prednisone 40 mg, Asacol 2x2400 mg, 6-MP (Mercaptopurine) 50mg, Rowasa Enema 4g, and Difulcan 100 mg.

Life on earth is nothing compared to an eternity. Remember, God is glorified in the end, whether one really choose him or not, so if life seems unfair.. Ecclesiastes 2:24-26.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

In all your ways, submit to Him. I need to remember, even if sometimes it feels like my life isn’t in His control, it is in His control!

mm, so what exactly is a Christian? It’s easy to profess faith, but that doesn’t mean you possess it. Who have you chosen to be your close friends? Are you growing spiritually? Bearing fruit? One thing to keep in mind is, Christians should hate sin. Not place themselves knowingly where they’ll be prone to sin. Stuff like that~ (x

Well anyways, I guess I just sleep a lot now. -__-

The 6-MP meds really does make you feel like poop, and it hasn’t gotten to the beneficial stage yet, so I’m getting worse right now x.x, but I shall trust I will get better soon!

Honestly, I don’t know if I can even be alright by winter quarter. But yeah, I shall see. :T

144 pounds, ulcerative colonitis, anemic, 4th day on meds, still alive !

With this experience, and boy when I get healthy again… :o can’t wait.

Friday - Went down to the Newport Beach Surgery Center for my colonoscopy! much Thanks to Nich who brought me there^^

Got my meds, and then went home with my mom. No finals for me since I’m this sick:T

yeah… I’m so weak now xD mebbe blog later~ praise God for keeping me alive; He’s glorified, always (:
